The Nightporter Hotel (contest)

We designed ‘Nightporter’ in a contest for a location in Amstelveen. ‘Nightporter’ is a building in which the functions of hotel, cinema and apartments are accommodated. In the plinth, the accesses to the various functions are included. The glass base serves as a large shop window. The bottom of the cinemas are visible from here. In the lifted volume we find the hotel rooms. The apartments are located on a third layer of the plan. They have a view over the nearby square.
